News Item: POP UP Products Works With Specialist Partner in Net Zero Campaign

POP UP Products has stepped up its commitment to tackling climate change by working with a specialist partner in its journey to reduce its carbon emissions to net zero.

The innovative low level access equipment developer has appointed Positive Planet as its carbon reduction partner.

POP UP Products has been working with Positive Planet to produce a sustainability strategy with the aim of reducing carbon emissions to net zero.

One of the first steps has been an independent assessment of POP UP Products’ current carbon footprint and developing a plan to reduce its impact on the planet.

David Bradley, POP UP Products’ Commercial and Operations Director, said that he was delighted to have achieved the first step in the company’s pledge to reduce its carbon emissions to net zero.

“We stated some time ago that we wanted to make POP UP Products as sustainable and low impact as possible. Now we have taken the first step to achieving that through our work with Positive Planet.

“It’s a real milestone for both POP UP Products and our customers. Construction and infrastructure project supply chains are now required to map out the carbon emissions and sustainability of each stage.

“The work we have started with Positive Planet means we will be able to contribute to the proof of sustainability on every project which uses our products,” he said.

Stephen Henry, co-founder of Positive Planet, said the company was thrilled to be collaborating with POP UP Products on its environmental sustainability.

“Our partnership involves extensive analysis of POP UP Products’ carbon footprint, alongside expert guidance to develop effective carbon reduction initiatives.

“Furthermore, we will support the company to magnify the positive impact of these initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders,” he said.
