News item: HAE EHA Holds First SafeHire Review Working Group Meeting
During recent months HAE EHA’s Hire Certification Services has been undertaking a review of the SafeHire Private Standard focussing on the current Desktop Audit, as part of continual improvement objectives, to ensure that the standard is kept up-to-date, relevant, and appropriate improvements are implemented for members working towards SafeHire Certification.
Having listened to members feedback during on-site audits, and discussions during the HAE Board Strategy Day, in November 2022, the Hire Certification Services Team has subsequently held the first of a series of SafeHire Review Working Group meetings with member organisations. The first meeting was held at HAE EHA’s offices in Birmingham, on Thursday 13th July 2023, to explore and discuss the development plans and potential for further improvements. The meeting was well received with positive feedback from the group regarding the planned enhancements and further potential improvements put forward.
