News Item: CITB Extends Employer Network Pilot Until the End of 2024
The Employer Network Pilot was launched in January 2023 as a new CITB initiative, looking at alternative methods for funding training.
The programme is different, aiming for a more flexible approach to funding and allowing employers to decide how to distribute the funds across all their training requirements.
Also, employers no longer have to claim for training using the CITB grant scheme, this is all handled by the training provider.
Since the Employer Network started HAE has delivered 763 days of training to over 1000 learners, with many more days booked in.
The original pilot for the plant and tool hire sector was extended until the end of March however, the team is pleased to announce a further extension until 31st December 2024.
This means CITB registered employers that are up to date with their Levy Returns can take part and benefit from the available funding for an additional nine months.
Whilst the funding is set aside for those in-scope with CITB, due to the discounts available through block booking reduced rates are generally available on some training courses.
