With the European Rental Week (ERW) approaching, ERA is excited to announce the launch of the #RentalWeek2024 Social Media Challenge! This is an exciting opportunity for employees to showcase what it is like to work in the rental industry and highlight its rewarding aspects. The aim is to increase the visibility of the rental sector and inspire young people to explore careers in this field.

The challenge is simple and fun: employees of local rental companies are invited to participate in this challenge by creating short videos based on popular social media trends, which will then be shared across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube. Videos can be uploaded between now and 20th October.

How does this challenge work?

1) Find participants: Forward the Social Media Challenge briefing (see below) to the employees at your company.
2) Record videos: Employees are encouraged to create a short video showcasing their experiences, using official hashtags to maximise reach.
3) Share the content: The videos can be shared from the employees’ personal accounts or from the company’s main accounts by 20th October at the latest.
4) Further share on LinkedIn/X: As a part of the ERA community, they invite you to choose several of the posted videos and share them again on LinkedIn/X to expand their reach. This will help them engage with a wider audience, including the existing workforce, individuals who are actively seeking job opportunities, potential customers, and policymakers. Please be sure to use the official ERW hashtags outlined in the briefing.
